Garlic

On November 8th, the third grade class planted music garlic. Music garlic is a hardy, hardneck variety that likes cold weather - perfect for our garden.

These hard working students planted a total of 24 seeds.

These seeds were then covered with a thick blanket of straw to keep them warm while they sleep through the cold winter months. We're hoping to have some garlic scapes to harvest in the late spring/early summer.
