On June 11th, we finished cleaning up this old garden bed on the hill up to the baseball field. This is one of two beds installed by the Girl Scouts. several years ago. The Girl Scouts started clearing out this bed at the end of May.
Next, we covered the bed with brown paper bags as a weed barrier. And, finally, we used some of the leftover garden soil to fill the beds.
Pumpkins were planted here. We're looking forward to watching them grow over the summer months and then harvesting in the fall.
