Today the raised garden beds were installed on the school playground. The beds are 8 ft x 3 ft and a little over 2 ft high, made out of rough cut hemlock boards from Poulsen Lumber in Littleton, NH.

With the help of a tractor and several enthusiastic volunteers, we were able to fill the beds with garden soil from Mill Gardens Farmstand in Orford, NH. The garden soil is a 50/50 compost/topsoil mix.

Three raised garden beds on the playground - filled and read to be planted.
